SNAIC is a national center founded so that Somalia can take full part in the artificial intelligence revolution while protecting its language, culture and the interests of its people.
Our story
Born from a national need
AI is changing how the world learns, works and how governments serve their citizens. Yet most of these tools do not understand Somali, nor do they reflect our country's realities.
SNAIC exists to close that gap: to build Somali AI knowledge, data and tools, and to train a new generation of experts who work here at home.
